The pedals Shimano Deore XT PD-T8000 are double-handed pedals. These semi-automatic pedals are equipped with a double face: one with an SPD fastening system for secure maintenance, and the other with a flat surface with pimples. This makes it possible to adapt to all situations, whether it is pedaling on difficult roads or driving in the city without necessarily being clipped.
The extended contact surface allows optimal foot positioning, while the wide platform offers increased support on rough terrain. The bearings are more spaced, increasing the overall rigidity of the pedal and consequently its durability. This robust design is complemented by excellent sludge disposal.
The pedal tension is adjustable, allowing cyclists to adjust the force needed to clip and break down according to their preferences. Furthermore, the adjustable pimples on the flat side offer increased grip, reducing the risk of slipping when pedaling without being attached.
