AID FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN ELECTRIC BIKE
Prime purchase electric bike
In order to encourage alternative mobility to the use of the individual car and to realize the ecological and solidarity transition, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, the department of Hérault and the State have put in place several devices to help the purchase of bicycles for electric assistance to individuals and professionals.
To encourage alternative mobility, the Montpellier metropolis Méditerranée offers a subsidy of €500 for the purchase of a new electric bike. This grant is not income-tested.Through December 31, 2022.</ p>
For the purchase of a second-hand VAE or an electrification kit, the aid from the metropolitan area of Montpellier is €200.Until December 31, 2022
For the purchase of a new electric-assisted cargo bike, the aid is €1,000, aid reserved for professionals. Until December 31, 2022.
How to benefit from it?
To be able to take advantage of this offer, the conditions to be fulfilled are to reside in a municipality belonging to the metropolis of Montpellier, and to buy your VAE from a metropolitan merchant.
Amount of aid from €200 to €250, reserved for natural persons of legal age with a reference tax income per unit of less than €25,660, or employees of a company involved in a mobility plan or measures in this sense.
Amount of aid up to €200 and additional aid awarded by a local authority or group of local authorities (cumulative aid).
The beneficiary must:
- Be of legal age
- Be domiciled in France
- Have a reference tax income per unit less than or equal to €13,489
- Have received aid for the same purpose
The bike must:
- Being new
- Should not have a lead acid battery
- Have an assisted pedaling cycle
- Not to be sold by the acquirer within one year of its acquisition.
