The Maxxis Assegai in size 29x2.50 WT (Wide Trail) is a aTV tire specially designed for enduro, designed to face demanding terrain while offering high performance. Created in collaboration with the legendary downhill runner Greg Minnaar, this tire is named after the Assegai, a Zulu spear emblematic of South Africa, symbolizing strength and preparation for mountain combat. The Assegai combines the best features of Maxxis Minion, High Roller II and DHF tires, providing a versatile and powerful solution for mountain bike enthusiasts.

This tire is equipped with side pavements with large blocks, which ensure an exceptional grip on rough terrain, especially on roots and rocks, a crucial advantage for technical descents and aggressive turns. The MaxGrip 3C gum mixture offers an optimal balance between grip and durability, with particular attention to traction and braking. This mix improves control and safety on difficult terrains, while maximizing performance and accuracy during braking.

In this version Tubeless Ready, the Maxxis Assegai can be used with or without an air chamber, improving versatility and protection against punctures. It is also equipped with Exo+ technology at the side level, enhanced protection against abrasion and tearing, while maintaining good flexibility and moderate weight.
